Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment. Responsibilities include caring for patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis, utilizing skills like EKG interpretation, Central Line care, and bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies. The role requires critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management while working with a multidisciplinary team including PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, and OT. The unit has 24 beds and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Ohio RN licensure, and certifications in BLS and ACLS. A BSN is preferred. All Critical Care units feature advanced technology, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, and telemetry monitoring. Compensation includes up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new graduates, along with comprehensive benefits such as tuition reimbursement, certification incentives, and health insurance.
