Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Surg

Role Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to ensure high-quality service while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, and supports patient recovery. Key Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition Administer prescribed medications and provide appropriate care for different ages and conditions Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans Utilize nursing knowledge to perform treatments and procedures Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical tasks Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning Practice cost-effective resource management Prioritize patient safety and minimize risks Commit to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program RN licensure and BLS certification (within 14 days of hire) Computer literacy Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications
