# Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing financial services organization to identify a Staff Accountant . This is a newly created role driven by company growth and offers strong exposure to leadership, a collaborative environment, and clear long-term advancement opportunities. Why This Role Stands Out Direct visibility to executive leadership (reports into VP of Accounting) Growth-driven organization with real advancement potential Professional, polished team environment valuing strong communication and presence Healthy work-life balance (standard 8–5 schedule with light seasonal overtime) Team is ready to hire quickly Key Responsibilities Maintain general ledger, financial records, and supporting documentation Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close processes Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Assist with audit requests and financial reporting needs Ensure compliance with GAAP standards Partner with accounting leadership on ad hoc projects and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 0–3 years of experience (internship experience welcomed) CPA eligible or pursuing is a plus Foundational knowledge of GAAP Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
