# Business Development Representative

Extension is seeking a Business Development Representative for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Sheboygan, WI Overview A well-established manufacturer of highly engineered metal components is seeking a Business Development Representative to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships nationwide. This is a consultative, technical sales role focused on custom-engineered solutions, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations. Key Responsibilities Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and customer visits Grow and manage existing customer relationships Identify customer needs and develop custom-engineered solutions Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain on new opportunities Manage complex 9–18 month sales cycles and maintain an accurate pipeline Lead opportunities through the sales and new product introduction process Travel domestically for customer meetings and business development Qualifications 5–7 years of sales, business development, or engineering experience Technical manufacturing or engineering background preferred Experience with metal stamping, metal forming, engineered components, or custom manufacturing strongly preferred Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing complex sales cycles and developing new business CRM experience required; HubSpot a plus Willingness to travel approximately 15–25% Salary & Schedule $80,000–$85,000 base + uncapped commission Annual bonus opportunity up to 10% Hybrid — 2 days onsite, 3 days remote Sheboygan, WI Nationwide territory
