# Business Development Representative

Clearwater Analytics

Job Summary The Business Development Representative (also known as a Sales Development Representative) engages with stakeholders to address their concerns about investment reporting accuracy and timeliness. Using advanced technology, the representative and their team will proactively reach out to potential customers through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn. They will gain expertise in sales techniques and utilize company tools like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and High Spot to effectively find new prospects and contribute to Clearwater's growth. Responsibilities Conduct research and find compelling events to identify customer needs and personalize sales communications. Source, prepare for and participate in business meetings with prospective clients. Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives with the goal to increase net new pipeline. Create and maintain client information in our CRM database. Collaborate with and become an apprentice to closers in supporting deals as they move through the sales funnel. Required Skills Excellent relationship building skills and natural curiosity. Track record of success in life. Competitiveness – passion & drive, solid work ethic, motivation. Ability to be a team player while also making independent decisions. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Exceptional problem-solving abilities. Education And Experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting and/or another related area.
