Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The RN acts as a key communicator between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction. Responsibilities: Monitor, assess, and evaluate patient conditions to support care plans and promote optimal outcomes. Deliver safe, effective care following policies, maintaining detailed documentation of patient status, interventions, and incidents. Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and facilitating communication with families and staff. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational goals for quality and satisfaction. Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations. Foster professional growth in others via mentorship, uphold confidentiality and safety standards, and promote a positive work environment. Adhere to policies, standards, and codes of conduct, supporting shared governance principles. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree preferred. Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required. Experience with direct patient care preferred. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
