# Speech Language Pathologist in Providence, RI

This contract position offers a year-round schedule with flexible options—full-time at 37.5 hours per week, with part-time schedules also considered. The school is seeking a dedicated professional who can work with a severe, behavioral needs caseload and who values collaboration with a highly supportive staff. Your expertise will help students maximize their communication abilities, enhance their classroom participation, and achieve personal milestones. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience or strong interest in working with severe, behavioral needs Willingness/ability to participate in safety care training (provided) Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly desirable Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Positive attitude with a collaborative team approach Comfortable working year-round within a school setting Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat students with complex communication disorders Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members Provide direct and consultative services as part of a supportive learning environment Participate in staff meetings, safety care training, and professional development Maintain accurate therapy records and document student progress If you are committed to empowering students with complex needs, enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic school environment, and are ready for a quick, smooth hiring process, we want to connect with you!
