Tax and Finance Executive On behalf of our industry-leading global business partner, for whom we provide consultancy services, we are looking for a "Tax and Finance Executive" who will manage tax compliance, SCT (ÖTV), and statutory reporting processes end-to-end and add value to the team. Job Description Tax and Statutory Declarations: Prepare, verify, and submit all statutory tax declarations (VAT, Withholding Tax, Stamp Duty, SCT/ÖTV, GEKAP, Advance Tax, Corporate Tax, etc.) within legal deadlines and in strict compliance with current regulations. SCT (ÖTV) and Sectoral Processes: Manage SCT processes, EMRA (EPDK) permits and notifications, sectoral statutory reporting, and letter of guarantee processes in accordance with the legislation. Statutory Accounting and Regulatory Compliance: Audit the compliance of accounting records with the Uniform Chart of Accounts, Turkish Tax Legislation, and local regulations; perform general trial balance and tax account reconciliations. Foreign Trade and Incentive Processes: Execute tax/declaration controls for export and export-registered sales, follow up on customs closures, and manage government incentive (investment, fair, etc.) application processes. Fixed Assets and Inventory: Oversee fixed asset tracking; coordinate the compliance of period-end physical inventory counts and fixed asset updates with tax legislation. ERP and System Compliance: Audit the regulatory compliance of the chart of accounts, material master data, and tax parameters in ERP / SAP systems; support process development initiatives. Official Authority Relations: Flawlessly manage statutory notifications, applications, and correspondence with Tax Offices, Revenue Administration (GİB), EMRA (EPDK), TurkStat (TÜİK), the Central Bank, and other relevant government authorities. Archiving: Ensure the proper organization of the company's archive and official documentation processes. Legislation Tracking and Reporting: Closely monitor changes in tax legislation, analyze the corporate tax burden and potential risks, and present periodic statutory reports to management. Quality Standards: Work in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 system requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Finance, or related fields. Minimum 7–8 years of professional experience in tax, declaration management, and statutory reporting. Advanced knowledge of Turkish Tax Legislation and declaration preparation processes; must have worked in a manufacturing company operating under SCT List 1 (ÖTV 1 sayılı liste) and have hands-on, proven experience in managing SCT (ÖTV) declarations and refund processes end-to-end (EMRA/EPDK process experience or a strong motivation to learn is preferred). Intermediate to Advanced level of English (capable of conducting written and verbal operational/technical communications). Experience working with ERP systems; SAP (specifically the FI module) knowledge is highly preferred. CPA (SMMM) certification is a strong plus. Capable of managing operations independently as an individual contributor (this role does not involve team management responsibilities) , highly detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and follow-up skills.
