Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst Location: City Centre – Houston, TX Salary: Up to $110K Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remote Reports to: VP of Finance Exciting newly created Financial Analyst opportunity with a growing company in the CityCentre area! The company is actively expanding through acquisitions and is looking for an experienced analyst to join the finance team and work closely with the VP of Finance. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys financial analysis, modeling, FP&A, and working with financial statements in a growth-focused environment. Responsibilities Perform financial analysis to support business and strategic decisions Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and management reporting Analyze financial statements, trends, and business performance Support budgeting and forecasting activities Assist with analysis related to acquisitions and company growth initiatives Analyze large data sets and identify trends, variances, and opportunities Prepare financial presentations and reporting for leadership Partner with accounting and other departments to ensure accurate financial information Utilize Excel to improve reporting, analysis, and automation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 4+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, accounting, or a combination of public accounting and industry experience Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, and journal entries Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, complex formulas, financial modeling, and data analysis/automation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations
