Location: Surfside/33154 on Collings Ave (N. Miami Beach) Schedule: 8 hours standard, schedule M-F (may have one day remote flex open to discussion) Company Overview: Hotel Group and reputable Resort. Role Overview: The ideal candidate comes from the Hospitality industry and has knowledge of : Full Cycle HR compliance and Hospitality industry niches. The Director of Human Resources leads a department of 5 including a manager, has oversight of critical tasks of staff such as Recruitment and Compliance, and is hands-on with Employee Retention & Relations with an on the floor approach communicating and engaging a close-nit workforce. In addition, takes ownership of Rolling out Initiatives & Special projects and participating in Leadership engagements. Use of HRIS and payroll systems. The ability to communicate in English, Spanish and or Creole is needed. The Human Resources Director should possess strong Leadership skills, and has proven experience managing a Team, implementing solutions, HR dept processes and re-structuring workflow; in addition to excellent Communication skills with internal staff and collaborating with Executives on future goals, objectives and the Visision of the organization. Additional Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing human resources policies. Supporting strategic objectives. Hiring staff and negotiating employment agreements. Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Managing staff wellness and performance reviews. Motivating and supporting current staff. Maintaining staff records. Handling employee benefits. Identifying staffing needs and creating job descriptions. Designing and directing training programs.
