OR Circulating Registered Nurse - Day Shift, Full Benefits

Role Overview: A Registered Nurse (RN) in the OR Circulating department is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with standards and policies. They supervise and direct patient care within the operating room, ensuring proper techniques, maintaining compliance with HIPAA, and documenting accurately. The RN participates in direct patient care, maintains a safe environment, and collaborates with staff and other departments to deliver quality services. Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct patient care in the operating room. Ensure adherence to accepted standards and practices. Maintain compliance with regulations and document appropriately. Assess, prioritize, and coordinate patient care effectively. Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, and quality assurance programs. Assist in training new staff and contribute to a healthy work environment. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and team members. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program; BSN preferred. Current RN license and BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Minimum one year of nursing experience in surgical, ASC, PACU, ICU, or OR settings. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to respond to emergent situations and work independently. Physical & Technical Requirements: The role involves frequent walking, standing, and sitting; handling items up to 25 lbs; and utilizing visual, auditory, and fine motor skills. Proficiency in relevant software and knowledge of medical equipment are essential.
