Senior Product Manager - Launch and Client Success
PHIL
SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER, LAUNCH AND CLIENT SUCCESS
ABOUT PHIL
Getting a prescription filled shouldn't be the hardest part of starting treatment. Yet for many patients, it is. PHIL is a Series D health-tech company building the platform that connects patients, prescribers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers so patients can get their medication quickly and affordably.
Our digital hub and pharmacy platform handles everything from enrollment and benefits verification to prior authorization, copay support, and home delivery. For manufacturers, that means more patients start therapy and stay on it, plus the commercial insight to keep improving access.
We're a dedicated team of people from a wide range of backgrounds, united by a focus on the patient experience.
THE ROLE
We're hiring a Senior Product Manager, Launch and Client Success to own the successful launch of new manufacturer and provider clients onto PHIL's platform, and to keep those clients succeeding after go-live. This is a hands-on implementation and product role, not a pure roadmap role or an account management role. Launch demand rises and falls, so you'll run new client implementations end to end when volume is high and take on PHIL's product roadmap when it eases. We're growing quickly, and making every launch faster than the last is how we scale without scaling headcount at the same rate.
You'll report to the Senior Director of Product Management, and work closely with Engineering, Design, Client Success, and Commercial teams. You'll lead client discovery and the launch plan, while Engineering and Design support on scoping, build, and experience decisions.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• Client launches: Lead discovery, solutioning, and launch planning for new manufacturer and provider partners, from kickoff through on-time go-live.
• Patient and provider experience decisions: Guide clients through the B2B2C choices that shape their end-consumer experience, advising on what will and won't work well for patients and providers.
• Configuration and delivery: Build and test client configuration hands-on, and partner with Engineering to scope, sequence, and ship client-specific changes.
• Roadmap work: Own product roadmap initiatives alongside launch commitments, using data to improve adoption, engagement, and value for manufacturers and providers.
• Program performance and launch efficiency: Set targets for adoption, retention, and value delivered, drive improvements to client program performance, and use automation and AI to make each launch faster than the last.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR
• By 90 days: You've learned the platform, configuration model, and launch process, and have met and demonstrated competency to your key client(s) and internal stakeholders. You've shadowed or co-led a launch and are running discovery and configuration on a live implementation. You've also identified at least one inefficiency in the launch process and proposed automating it with an LLM or agent, including an estimate of the time it would save.
• By 6 months: You've led at least one client launch end to end on your own, with a documented plan, risks surfaced early, and go-live on the agreed date. You've shipped at least one roadmap item with defined success metrics, and introduced one automation or AI-driven improvement to the launch process. You're proactively identifying optimizations for launched clients that improve outcomes for patients, clients, and PHIL. Internal stakeholders and leaders trust you to run launches without close oversight.
• By 12 months: You've launched multiple clients on time and correctly configured, with measurably shorter launch cycles than when you started. Your clients are hitting the performance targets you set with them, and you've delivered a roadmap improvement with quantified business impact. You've freed up a majority of your own time, and you're using it to build new capabilities that expand PHIL's TAM.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Our strongest candidates have worked on both sides of a client implementation: guiding a partner through decisions and then getting hands dirty to configure, test, and ship the result. They're equally comfortable in a discovery call with a client and a scoping session with engineers, and they know how to keep multiple stakeholders moving together.
• 6+ years of experience in product management, solutions architecture, or a similar client-facing product role, ideally in a technology-driven environment
• Recent, hands-on experience owning client or partner implementations from discovery through go-live
• Experience advising clients on decisions that shape a consumer-facing experience, with a working knowledge of B2B and B2C product principles
• Comfort working directly with engineering to scope technical work and make implementation tradeoffs, including file specifications and APIs at the level needed to configure and test
• A track record of moving product or launch metrics, with results you can quantify
• Hands-on experience using AI or automation tools to scale your own work
• You break down ambiguous work, document clearly, and flex between deep implementation work and standard product management as demand shifts
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or another complex, regulated domain
• Familiarity with patient services, hub programs, or pharmacy workflows
