# Inside Sales Estimator

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Estimator at our Nashville, TN office. This position plays a key role in supporting the sales process by preparing accurate and timely estimates for power generation systems and related products. Your role will be crucial in ensuring Nixon provides top-notch services and exceptional customer experience, fostering business growth and retention. Our ideal candidate is someone who is detail oriented, organized, and deadline driven. What You’ll Be Doing Prepare detailed cost estimates for generator systems, parts, and related services based on customer requirements and specifications. Collaborate with the Sales team to review project scope and ensure estimates align with customer expectations. Research and source pricing for materials and equipment from vendors and suppliers. Respond to customer inquiries, provide technical product information, and offer recommendations tailored to their needs. Maintain accurate records of estimates and quotes. Stay up to date on industry trends and product developments. Support the sales team with additional tasks and special projects as needed. All other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field is required. Previous experience in sales estimating strongly preferred. Knowledge of power generation systems, electrical systems, or construction is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs. What’s in it for you?
