Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Interventional Radiology (IR) Procedure Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic image-guided procedures. Responsibilities include: patient assessment, procedural support, moderate sedation administration and monitoring, documentation management, and post-procedure recovery. The RN coordinates nursing care, educates patients and families, and supports transitions of care, ensuring safe, patient-centered, and efficient services. The role involves leadership activities such as precepting, quality improvement, and delegation based on skill level and resource availability. Excellent Communication, Mentoring, And Critical Thinking Skills Are Essential. May require driving personal vehicle for role-related tasks. Qualifications: Nursing program graduate with valid state RN licensure. Baccalaureate degree in nursing within five years for recent graduates. Preferably one year of RN or LPN experience. ACLS certification required or completed upon hire. Good computer skills, teamwork, adaptability, and effective communication are necessary. This role does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
