Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant This is an international manufacturing company based in Columbus. They currently have 3,500 employees and are growing. They have 27 facilities spread out through out the USA. In their Columbus home office they need to hire an experienced Senior Accountant. Responsibilities will include preparation and distributing accurate accounting entries, reports and reconciliations on a consistent and timely basis. Handle monthly Reconciliation of company- wide inventory. Perform monthly internal reconciliations for assigned accounts. Provide data support to internal and external auditors regarding revenue and sales analytics. Analyze monthly results for P&L trends for responsible plants. Provide monthly data to management, comparing financial statement data and general ledger information. Coordinate Intercompany Payable/ Intercompany Receivable reconciliations between parent company and subsidiaries and other accounting duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and proficiency in accounting software. They need a candidate who has 4+ years of accounting experience required. Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred. Working Knowledge of an ERP System is required. SAP is a Plus.
