Software Engineer

You'll be working for an ambitious start up in a small software team as the senior C++ engineer, working at the application layer above the firmware. The product is a complex, high-end IoT device, featuring multiple cameras and sensors. Your core role will be helping the product move from prototype to launch ready. The day to day work will consist of working on real time video pipelines, and the threading work that holds everything together. The business are enthusiastic advocates of AI- it's embedded in how the engineering team work day to day, and it's also a core selling part of their products, with machine learning and computer vision playing a key role in their camera system. The role is based in San Francisco, and is operated on a hybrid model. The base salary for this role is in the range of $200k to $220k, plus equity and a comprehensive benefits package.
