Role Overview : As a Registered Nurse, you will lead the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. You will support patients, families, and the healthcare team by ensuring effective communication and finding solutions to meet patient goals. Your role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of care and making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. What You Will Do : • Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care. • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. • Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. • Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. • Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals. What You Will Need : Required Qualifications : • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. • Health care provider certification (BCLS). • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans. • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. • Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Preferred Qualifications : • BSN preferred. • One to two (1-2) years as a Lactation Consultant/Specialist preferred (for RN Lactation Consultant roles).
