# Project Manager

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced A/V Integration Project Manager The ideal candidate combines strong professional A/V technical knowledge with proven project management experience and the ability to effectively coordinate clients, engineers, programmers, installers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Project Management Lead all phases of A/V integration projects from planning through closeout. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables. Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules. Establish project success criteria, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency plans. Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that may affect schedule, cost, quality, or client satisfaction. Lead project kickoff meetings with clients, sales, engineering, installation, procurement, finance, and other stakeholders. Manage change orders, scope changes, submittals, approvals, and related documentation. Ensure complete project closeout, including as-built documentation, final deliverables, and lessons learned. Technical & A/V Oversight Work closely with engineering, programming, procurement, and installation teams to ensure technical requirements are met. Provide project-level oversight of professional A/V systems, including: Audio and video systems Signal flow Control systems DSPs Video distribution Audio reinforcement Conferencing systems Networking fundamentals Ensure design intent and technical standards are properly implemented in the field. Coordinate with installation teams and subcontractors to resolve technical and project-related issues. Understand construction methods, low-voltage systems, and jobsite requirements. Client & Team Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with clients and stakeholders. Manage cross-functional project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and installation partners. Coordinate staffing and resource requirements with installation leadership. Resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions when project challenges arise. Partner closely with Sales to ensure effective project handoffs and ongoing client satisfaction. Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and internal teams. Financial & Operational Management Monitor project revenue, costs, margins, and financial performance. Track project expenses and identify potential cost overruns or financial risks. Ensure project resources and associate costs remain aligned with approved proposals and statements of work. Monitor project profitability and escalate financial concerns when necessary. Maintain accurate project documentation, workbooks, trackers, and reporting. Continuous Improvement Participate in project post-mortems and identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend improvements to project management processes, tools, and workflows. Promote effective communication and collaboration between Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Installation teams. Help establish and maintain project management best practices. Required Qualifications 4+ years of project management experience in A/V integration or a related industry. Strong technical understanding of professional A/V systems. Experience with A/V control systems such as Crestron, AMX, Biamp, or Extron. Knowledge of DSPs, video distribution, audio reinforcement, conferencing platforms, and networking fundamentals. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and deliverables. Strong understanding of construction methods, low-voltage systems, and jobsite safety. Experience managing cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Excel. Experience with project management software such as Wrike or equivalent. Familiarity with AIA project documentation, including drawings, submittals, change orders, and schedules. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project/job sites as required. Preferred Qualifications AVIXA CTS or equivalent certification. Experience with Q360. Experience managing complex commercial A/V integration projects. Experience working directly with executive-level clients and stakeholders. Strong financial and project profitability management experience. Experience working closely with Sales teams on project handoffs and client relationships. Passion for technology and continuous improvement. Work Environment Hybrid work environment with a combination of office and remote work. Regular travel to client locations and project/job sites may be required. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Occasional walking, reaching, and lifting of equipment or materials up to 25 pounds.
