Position Description The Warehouse Clerk at Applied Medical plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy, organization, and efficiency of warehouse operations at our Irvine warehouse and distribution center. This position supports the movement and control of medical device inventory that contributes to Applied Medical’s mission of advancing healthcare. The warehouse clerk keeps production moving and customer orders on track. Working in a cleanroom environment, the role assembles custom product kits, manages inventory with accuracy, and supports quality assurance across the warehouse. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials to maintain accurate inventory records. Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and adjustments to ensure data integrity within warehouse management systems. Pick, package, and ship customer orders while meeting quality and delivery standards. Palletize completed orders for carrier-specific pickups and ensure readiness for shipment. Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move, store, and retrieve products. Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) software to track and manage inventory transactions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with Applied Medical’s Quality Systems and safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement in warehouse operations and inventory control processes. Success in This Role Looks Like Maintaining precise and up-to-date inventory records that support operational accuracy and on-time delivery. Demonstrating efficiency and reliability in handling materials, shipping orders, and supporting warehouse workflows. Upholding Applied Medical’s quality and safety standards in all warehouse activities. Contributing to a collaborative and proactive team environment focused on accuracy and performance. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and inventory control accuracy. Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes: High school diploma or equivalent credential. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to lift up to forty pounds on an occasional basis. Commitment to maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Preferred The following skills and attributes are preferred: More than two years of experience in warehouse receiving, inventory management, or logistics operations. Hands-on experience using Radio Frequency (RF) scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Familiarity with Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) software. Ability to operate industrial equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of lean warehousing principles and continuous improvement practices.
