Speech Therapist - Full Time

Position Overview The Speech Therapist is responsible for delivering quality patient care based on physician orders. Key duties include conducting assessments, administering treatments, developing care plans, communicating with a multidisciplinary team, managing supplies, coordinating care, and providing health education and training to family members. Responsibilities Include Providing prescribed Speech Therapy services. Following policies, procedures, and compliance with care standards and regulations. Writing evaluations and developing individualized Plans of Care with goals and expected outcomes. Maintaining and updating care plans aligned with therapy goals. Coordinating services such as discharge planning with healthcare team, families, and physicians. Ensuring confidentiality and effective communication among staff, patients, and families. Serving as a clinical resource for staff and providing progress reports to physicians and teams. Qualifications Include Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current, unrestricted SLP license in the practice state. CPR certification. Preferred experience: At least one year in an acute care setting.
