Irrigation Technician

Position Overview This full-time role involves hands-on management, testing, repair, installation, and maintenance of residential irrigation systems. Key responsibilities include locating, excavating, and repairing equipment; diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues; installing new systems; and performing routine maintenance. The role requires mapping irrigation areas, digging trenches, installing pipes, pumps, and electrical timers, and ensuring systems operate correctly through testing and adjustments. Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent customer service are essential. The position also supports snow removal activities and performs other assigned duties. Qualifications And Skills Minimum of 5+ years in residential irrigation assembly, troubleshooting, and repair. High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with technology and exceptional communication skills. Experience in residential landscape irrigation and lighting preferred. Bilingual ability is a plus. Reliable attendance, valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and ability to pass drug screening and background check. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $26-$38/hour, based on experience and education.
