About the Position: Serves as the Budget Technician (OA) for U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS), Fort Bragg, NC.
Perform tasks involving budget execution by compiling resource data from various financial management reports.
Utilize automated financial systems to input, correct, and process budget data.
Analyze statistical and budget data to support budget formulation.
Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and other documents using several types of software packages for different office needs.

Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Formulating budget summaries and reports using statistical data; 2) Utilizing automated financial accounting systems to input and process data such as Defense Travel System (DTS) / Government Travel Card (GTC); 3) Reviewing budgetary data to provide support for budget formulation. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
