Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Orthopedic Trauma

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. They serve as a key communication link between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and take appropriate actions to promote outcomes. Deliver safe, effective care per policies, document assessments, care provided, and incidents accurately. Advocate for patients and families, respond to concerns, educate, and communicate vital information to ensure satisfaction. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, support change, and contribute to better patient outcomes and organizational goals. Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and industry knowledge; mentor and support peers. Adhere to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, promoting a positive and ethical work environment. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred. Current RN license (single or multi-state); BLS certification required. Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and organizational skills.
