Graphic Designer

Pinch Provisions is a leading purveyor of personal care kits and premium emergency essentials, combining the sensibility of a fashion label with the functionality of a modern general store. We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer with passion for packaging, retail, and consumer trends to join our creative team. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Chicagoland area. The role reports to the Creative Director and includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) benefits. What You’ll Do Play a key role in new product development, presenting your ideas confidently and effectively Research and design packaging for new products across a wide range of formats Extend existing packaging systems across new products Refresh and update artwork for existing products while maintaining brand consistency Prepare accurate, production-ready files for paper and plastic packaging, as well as hard, soft, and paper goods Review proofs, samples, and production artwork with exceptional attention to detail Design fresh and engaging content for digital platforms, including but not limited to ecommerce sites, marketing emails, and digital catalogs Support creative team at photoshoots, edit and retouch images, and manage part-time retoucher What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field Approximately 3–5 years of professional design experience, ideally with significant packaging or consumer product experience Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign Strong understanding of print production, prepress, dielines, color, materials, and production specifications Excellent typography and layout skills (pattern and illustration skills a plus!) A visual sensibility that complements the Pinch Provisions brand A genuine interest in consumer products and trends, particularly in the fashion, beauty, personal care, gift, and/or lifestyle industries Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication and presentation skills Must reside in the Chicagoland area How We Work Our creative team follows a hybrid schedule, working two days per week in our new Elk Grove Village, IL office and three days remotely, with additional in-office time as projects require.
