If you are eager to join a growth stage company and be part of the early team that is shaping the foundation of both the company and the delivery of pediatric care, then this opportunity might be for you!POSITION OVERVIEW The RN, Clinical Lead in Atlanta, Georgia is a hands-on clinical leader responsible for supporting safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care while serving as a trusted resource and mentor for the clinic team. Working closely with the Practice Manager and clinical providers, the RN, Clinical Lead helps create stability and consistency within the clinic by reinforcing clinical standards, supporting day-to-day workflows, mentoring team members, and identifying opportunities to improve the patient and family experience. This role is ideal for an experienced pediatric nurse who enjoys being directly involved in patient care while also helping develop others and strengthen clinical operations. The RN, Clinical Lead leads through influence, visibility, accountability, and a willingness to step in wherever needed to support the team. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Clinical Leadership & Patient Care Serve as a clinical resource and role model for LPNs, Medical Assistants, and other clinic team members. Remain actively involved in direct patient care and support the team during high-volume or complex clinical situations. Reinforce pediatric clinical standards, safety protocols, policies, and established workflows. Partner with providers and clinic leadership to promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Help identify and address barriers impacting patient flow, clinical efficiency, or the overall patient experience. Support clinical decision-making within scope of practice and escalate concerns appropriately. Team Development & Mentorship Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and real-time feedback to clinical team members. Support the onboarding, training, and development of new clinical team members. Help establish clear expectations and reinforce accountability across the clinical team. Foster a collaborative, supportive environment where team members feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance. Lead by example, demonstrating humility, professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. Clinical Operations & Workflow Partner with the Practice Manager and providers to optimize patient flow and day-to-day clinical workflows. Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and consistency across the clinic. Support implementation and adoption of new clinical workflows, policies, and operational initiatives. Monitor clinical processes and proactively address gaps that could impact quality, safety, or the patient experience. Collaborate with clinic leadership to ensure appropriate clinical coverage and effective utilization of team resources. Vaccine & Inventory Management Oversee vaccine management processes, including appropriate storage, handling, documentation, and inventory controls. Monitor vaccine and clinical supply inventory to ensure appropriate stock levels and minimize waste. Reinforce compliance with applicable vaccine management requirements and internal standards. Partner with clinic leadership to resolve inventory discrepancies and proactively anticipate supply needs. Quality, Safety & Compliance Promote a culture of patient safety and clinical excellence. Ensure clinical practices align with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and established pediatric standards. Identify clinical risks or areas of concern and partner with appropriate leaders to develop solutions. Support quality improvement initiatives and translate clinical insights into practical process improvements. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state. Pediatric nursing experience required; outpatient pediatric experience strongly preferred. Previous experience serving as a charge nurse, clinical lead, nurse supervisor, preceptor, or mentor preferred. Experience with vaccine management, storage, inventory, and clinical supply oversight. Strong knowledge of pediatric clinical standards, patient safety practices, and clinical workflows. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to team members. Ability to identify workflow challenges and implement practical solutions that improve patient flow and team effectiveness. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable balancing direct patient care with clinical leadership responsibilities. Ability to remain calm, collaborative, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
