You’ll lead and develop Team Members and Shift Managers, manage labor and inventory, protect standards, build local relationships, drive sales, and improve store-level profitability. You understand that sales, labor, food cost, service, and community presence are connected. You think creatively about ways to drive traffic and sales. You notice problems and opportunities early and take action. You use numbers to make decisions instead of managing only by feel. You want responsibility for results, not just responsibility for completing tasks. This Role Is Not For You If You want to manage primarily from an office. You wait for ownership to identify every problem or opportunity. You avoid difficult conversations with your team. You believe staffing, training, sales, or community engagement belong to someone else. You focus on cutting labor without considering the effect on sales and service. You need someone watching in order to maintain standards. What You’ll Own You are responsible for building a store that performs consistently whether ownership is in the building or not. That Includes Hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and developing Team Members and Shift Managers. Building schedules and maintaining appropriate management coverage. Managing attendance, performance, accountability, and staffing needs. Leading store execution around Clean, Prep, Blend, and Serve. Protecting food safety, product quality, speed, cleanliness, and guest experience. Managing inventory, ordering, receiving, waste, and product availability. Monitoring labor, food cost, prime cost, productivity, and other controllable expenses. Reviewing sales and performance trends and taking action when results are off track. Building relationships with local schools, businesses, organizations, and community partners. Supporting catering, sampling, fundraisers, partnerships, promotions, and other creative ways to drive local sales. Developing Shift Managers who can independently lead strong shifts. Communicating store needs, people issues, maintenance concerns, and performance trends early. This is a working management role. You will spend part of your week leading the business and part of your week operating alongside the team. What We Expect Prior restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other high-volume management experience. Experience leading and developing hourly employees. Experience managing schedules and labor. Ability to understand basic operating metrics, including sales, labor, food cost, and prime cost. Strong organization and follow-through. Ability to make decisions under pressure. Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility. Weekend and holiday availability. ServSafe Manager certification required before independently leading store operations. You do not need it on day one if you are otherwise a strong fit. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Top candidates have previously built teams, improved store performance, managed labor and costs, coached other leaders, and taken ownership without needing constant direction. What You’ll Earn Base pay of $26.00–$28.00/hr plus tips. Target annual performance bonus opportunity of approximately $10,000+. Additional incentive upside when store performance materially exceeds expectations. Schedule & Availability This is a full-time working management role. The General Manager will work a combination of operating shifts and dedicated management time based on the needs of the store.
