Senior Project Accountant

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT | CONSTRUCTION / PROJECT ACCOUNTING | $$85K - $95K | West Chester, PA Growing construction company that supports large-scale projects (hospitals, schools, commercial buildings). This is a great opportunity for a construction/project cost accountant who enjoys varied responsibilities and wants to be part of a growing U.S. business. RESPONSIBILITIES – Senior Project Accountant Manage business unit accounting and month-end close Prepare and analyze WIP, project costs, accruals and financial results Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Analyze financial statements, cash flow and capital expenditures Support audits, tax, treasury and internal controls Research and apply IFRS accounting standards Identify opportunities for process improvements and greater efficiency Partner with operations, corporate accounting and senior leadership on financial matters REQUIREMENTS – Senior Project Accountant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 4+ years of accounting experience Construction/project/cost accounting experience required Strong WIP reporting experience System-savvy and comfortable learning new accounting/ERP systems
