You will have a fixed salary, 10.5 hours of protected paid time every week, a capped caseload, and a team that includes MA/LPN and Peer Recovery Specialist support. Time to do the work properly.Your schedule includes 10.5 hours per week of paid, protected time for documentation, supervision, case consultation, and lunch.  A caseload that stays manageable.We cap caseloads to protect quality of care and your wellbeing.  You won’t be doing this alone.You will work in a collaborative care model with MA/LPN and Peer Recovery Specialist support. Paperwork handled for you.In-house billing and Soulside AI documentation support keep your time with patients and away from reimbursement and charting backlogs. Many of our team members bring personal or family experience with addiction and recovery, and we welcome candidates in recovery to apply. Compensation and benefits Health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus 100% employer-paid short- and long-term disability and life insurance Retirement: 401(k) with up to 5% company match Time off: 29 days to start (PTO, floating holidays, paid volunteer days), increasing on your anniversary, plus 4 Re-Fuel Days each year for mental health, rest, or CEU activities Professional growth: Annual CEU stipend and ongoing paid training Employee Assistance Program: Free, confidential access to therapy, legal, financial, and wellness resources Additional perks: SoFi student loan interest rate discount, Rightway Health Concierge, one year of free pet telehealth through Pawp, and Perkspot discount marketplace Pay range: $70,000 to $80,000 with a monthly performance based bonus of 5% What you will do Provide individual and group therapy for patients with substance use disorders, in person and by telehealth Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using a non-paternalistic, destigmatizing approach Use evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Work alongside Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists to build and carry out integrated care plans Support patients in crisis and coordinate higher levels of care when needed Keep thorough, timely documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational requirements Improve access to care for disadvantaged and marginalized populations Build trust with patients and communities through compassion and consistency Educate patients and families about SUD, co-occurring disorders, and resources that support lasting recovery Take part in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to stay current in SUD treatment What you bring Required Active LCAS and independent licensure as an LCMHC, LMFT, or LCSW in North Carolina At least 1 year of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse staff, patients, and community members A collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous learning Alignment with our mission of low-barrier, non-punitive, harm-reductionist SUD care Preferred Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery Where and when you will work Location: 1493 New Walkertown Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27101Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Physical requirements The demands below are representative of those needed to perform the essential functions of this role.
