Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - $34-44 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Med Surg to provide comprehensive patient care within an assigned unit. Key Responsibilities Include Assessing patients’ physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety, and discharge needs on admission and ongoing. Developing individualized, patient-centered care plans based on assessments and patient input. Implementing nursing and medical orders, ensuring appropriateness to patient status. Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and participating in hourly rounding. Supervising and delegating tasks to healthcare team members, utilizing independent judgment. Evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices to meet patient goals. Observing safety guidelines and safe work practices, potentially acting as shift supervisor. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited nursing school and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state. Current CPR certification; ACLS and PALS/ENPC as applicable, obtained within specified timeframes. Preferred: BSN, minimum two years of acute care experience, and specialty certifications. Skills required: Effective interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent customer service, and basic computer proficiency. This role involves direct bedside care, care coordination, supervision, and participation in safety and quality initiatives.
