AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT for Full & Part • Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for our Manhattan ICF residence . PAY RATE : $20.60-$20.96 per hour depending on Driving status. DATE & TIME : THURSDAY OCTOBER 8TH from 10AM-1PM LOCATION : Recruiter will provide Hiring Event specific address for qualified candidates. POSITIONS TO BE FILLED: 40hr evening Shift: 2pm-10pm......Drivers License Required! 30hr Weekend Overnight shift: 10pm-8am...Friday night • Sunday night....Driver's License NOT Required! The oversight of all safety and health considerations Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs) Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc. Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred. Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST! Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings. Ability to use a computer for data entry.
