Grant Accountant

GHJ Search & Staffing is working with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Los Angeles who is seeking an experienced Grant Accountant to take ownership of the accounting and financial management of a diverse grant portfolio. This is a hands-on role for someone who can go beyond processing transactions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading and interpreting grant agreements, determining financial and compliance requirements, building grant tracking processes, monitoring budgets, and partnering directly with program leadership. This position is best suited for a self-sufficient and analytical accountant who can identify discrepancies, solve problems independently, and bring structure to the grant accounting process.
