Software Engineer

About the Company We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. This role will work closely with engineering, product, design, and QA teams to build reliable applications and services that meet business and user needs. About the Role The ideal candidate has strong full-stack development experience, a solid understanding of modern software engineering practices, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack features using Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. Write clean, efficient, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code. Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers. Research technical issues, identify root causes, and develop clear and effective solutions. Contribute to technical design discussions and engineering best practices. Stay current with evolving technologies, tools, and software development practices. Work effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience. 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and messaging systems such as Kafka. Strong knowledge of software development principles, programming methodologies, and engineering best practices. Proficiency with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS, and Bash. Experience working with UI/UX teams to implement technical specifications across modern browsers. Demonstrated experience developing microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON-based services. Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and SQL. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience participating in code reviews and providing technical guidance or mentorship. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks. Preferred Skills Experience designing and supporting distributed or microservices-based systems. Experience working with cloud-native application architectures. Familiarity with modern CI/CD and automated testing practices. Experience troubleshooting complex production or performance issues.
