Job Description Functional Team Lead: Responsibilities include: Managing scope and requirements; Managing the work from functional design through test; Informing the Project Manager of issues that may affect other areas of the Project;Assisting in resolving issues; Participating in quality reviews of designs; Providing status to Project Management on a regular basis; Assisting with defining solution blueprint; Confirming and transitioning planning deliverable; Working with other team leads to confirm technical architecture analysis deliverables. The Functional Lead then transitions into the Development Lead. Skills and Knowledge should include: Deep functional and technical knowledge of the application; Custom development experience; Strong analytical and supervisory skills; Technical Team Lead: Experience in managing teams with competing priorities and tight deadlines. Responsible for supervising deliverable development by software engineers and test analysts. Generally, a workstream will be further divided into cells or teams based on functional area, technical needs, and/or project lifecycle demands. Supervision includes assigning specific components to specific resources, reviewing deliverables (code, test scripts, unit tests, etc.), participating in checkpoints, reporting status to Project Managers/Workstream Leads, managing resource issues, integrating with other teams to provide a cohesive final product, and managing team level issues and risks.
