# CDL Driver (Class A)– Home Daily

CDL Class A Driver – Local (Home Daily) Walkersville, MD | Day Shift | Local DMV Routes Miscellaneous Metals, Inc. is seeking a reliable CDL Class A Driver to support local material deliveries to job sites across MD, DC, and Northern VA . This is a home-daily, safety-focused role supporting steel fabrication and construction projects. What You’ll Do Operate a Class A commercial vehicle (47’–55’ trailers) on local routes Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections Secure and unload materials safely at job sites Complete required DOT logs and delivery documentation Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and jobsite personnel Represent the company professionally with customers and vendors What We’re Looking For Valid CDL Class A license 1+ year of commercial driving experience Clean MVR (no major violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) Ability to drive a manual transmission Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card (or ability to obtain) Strong safety mindset, reliability, and time management Must pass background check and drug screening Why Drivers Like Working Here Local routes – home daily Steady, year-round work Safety-first company culture Supportive management team Well-maintained equipment Apply online or stop by our office to apply in person. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background and drug screening. Additional Requirements Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate driving requirements. Ability to meet FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements, including pre-employment, random, and post-accident testing. Maintain a valid DOT medical card throughout employment. What We Offer Sign-On Bonus: $500 paid with the first paycheck and the remaining $1,500 after completing 90 days of employment.
