Class A CDL Local Delivery Driver Pleasant Valley Farms – Farmington, CA Pay: $30.00–$34.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary Pleasant Valley Farms is seeking an experienced, dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our local delivery team. This is a home-daily driving position delivering eggs to retail and customer locations throughout our service area. We are looking for a professional driver who is dependable, safety-focused, organized, and comfortable working independently while providing excellent customer service. Previous experience with local route delivery, multi-stop routes, or food distribution is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Operate local delivery routes with drivers returning home daily Safely transport and deliver eggs to customer locations Complete multiple stops throughout assigned daily routes Load, unload, and move product using pallet jacks Verify deliveries and ensure products are delivered accurately and in good condition Communicate professionally with customers and address service concerns when possible Issue credit memos and properly document returned or damaged products Return products to the warehouse as required Maintain regular communication with transportation supervisors regarding deliveries, delays, customer concerns, or route issues Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain assigned equipment in a safe, clean, and professional condition Follow all DOT, FMCSA, company safety, and transportation requirements Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Must be 21 years of age or older Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse Safe and responsible driving record Previous commercial driving experience preferred Route delivery or food distribution experience strongly preferred Ability to safely operate a pallet jack and unload product at customer locations Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work overtime, weekends, and some holidays when business needs require What We Offer Local routes – home daily Full-time employment Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Stable employment with an established local family-owned agricultural business About Pleasant Valley Farms Pleasant Valley Farms is a family-owned Northern California egg producer and distributor with a long-standing commitment to quality, freshness, dependable service, and our customers.
