Registered Nurse:

Registered Nurse Busy medical practice specializing in Neurosurgery seeking a registered nurse (RN). In this position the RN works closely with the physician and collects health history and current patient health data, may perform physical exams , educates patient about postoperative care and medications and documents in the electronic medical records. The RN also triages incoming patient phone calls and works with the physician, physician assistant and/or advanced practice registered nurse in caring for the patient. The RN may occasionally travel with the health care team to an out of town clinic, traveling to the clinic in the morning and returning to Wichita the same day. The environment is fast paced and good organizational and communication skills are needed. Graduate from an accredited nursing program plus licensed in the state of Kansas. Prefer 1-3 years of experience. Full time 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
