Regardless of the position one holds, each team member brings their talent and desire to positively impact the environment and lives of others in a refreshing, vibrant, and inclusive culture.   Beta’s facilities are constantly expanding and changing as our company evolves.  This requires daily electrical work involving adding or changing a variety of commercial electrical infrastructure. The facilities Electrician will report to the Lead Electrician, performing work orders involving installing or renovating electrical, data, and fire alarm wiring, lighting, and power distribution systems. The team member will also be responsible for maintaining electrical equipment and tooling by inspecting electrical components, identifying electrical issues and repairing or replacing equipment or tooling necessary for supporting BETA’s Mission.  These tasks will be completed while following all national electrical and safety codes.       How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:   (Essential Duties and responsibilities)  Perform work on ANSI defined medium and low voltage electrical systems and equipment that generally operate in a voltage range from 12,470 VAC to 120 VAC.  Perform tasks and duties related to the installation, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the electrical systems, fire alarms, and equipment.   Remain flexible, friendly and able to collaborate  Maintain organization and cleanliness of work while performing any task  Use company software program to enter and track work order progress and completion    Minimum Qualifications we are seeking (your Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities):   Must be at least a fourth year apprentice  Strong commercial electrical background with direct relevant medium voltage experience  Pride in workmanship and finished work presentation  Ability to perform electrical requirements in dangerous, busy, loud, or outdoor environments  Ability to climb and work on ladders or use elevated work platforms  Knowledge and experience using an extensive range of power tools and heavy equipment  Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate within the organizations software and email programs  High energy, self motivated, organized, and detail oriented  Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you (preferred qualifications):   Seven plus years experience with concentrations in industrial or manufacturing settings   State of Vermont Journeyman licensure   Physical Demands and Work Environment:  Work is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions.  Must be able to work in the event of emergencies or operational disruptions/special projects.  Position involves frequent bending, standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching below and above shoulders, and moderate to heavy lifting up to 75lbs is required.  Wrist, hand and finger dexterity is required to operate various equipment and materials.   The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills, experience, industry background, and the evolving needs of the role.
