FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the My Navy Career Center (MNCC) of NAVY PAY AND PERSONNEL SUPPORT CENTER. You will provide advice, assistance, analysis, and information to other Deputy Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of various detachments regarding accounting and Fiscal functions. You will ensure the integrity, propriety, accuracy and timeliness of accounting and budgeting transactions. You will interpret financial data across a variety of Government financial Systems and DoD financial Regulation and appropriation laws. You will provide efficient and effective customer service to all levels of leadership for decision making. You will research and analyze data and develop a plan of action. You will implement and execute internal controls as prescribed in the requirements and principles of the DoD. Financial Management Regulations (DOD-FMR). You will review reports for accuracy with internal controls. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Providing advice, assistance, analysis, and information to other Deputy Disbursing Officers of various detachments regarding Accounting and Fiscal functions. 2. Ensuring the integrity, propriety, accuracy and timeliness of accounting and budgeting transactions. 3. Interpreting financial data across a variety of Government Financial Systems and DoD Financial Regulation and Appropriation Laws. 4. Providing efficient and effective customer service to all levels of leadership for decision making. 5. Researching and analyzes data and develop a plan of action. 6. Implementing and executing internal controls as prescribed in the requirements and principles of the Department of Defense, Financial Management Regulations (DOD-FMR). 7. Reviewing reports for accuracy with internal controls.
