# Inspector

Palmer Hamilton, LLC

Description: Position Objective(s): To inspect of all products according to procedure and ensure all products leaving facility meets or exceeds Palmer Hamilton’s quality standards. Position Functions: Inspect products according to standard operating procedure. Record nonconforming product in Nonconformance (NC) App. Perform minor repairs and rework on tables. Record all products inspected in inspection log. Move product to Shipping Department once inspected. Perform various tasks as assigned by management. Position Expectations: Zero product shipped from facility with defects or sub-standard quality present. Notify Lead or Manager of ongoing Quality Issues. Inspection log maintained accurately. Perform duties timely to meet shipping demands. Willingness to be a team player. Requirements: Qualifications: High level of attention to detail necessary Ability to work with little supervision and in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills Basic math skills Basic organizational skills Basic communication skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 1/3 of the time: Sit Lift up to 20 pounds Operate computer Operate cart Distance vision Color Vision 1/3 To 2/3 Of The Time: Lift up to 35 pounds Close vision 2/3 Or More Of The Time: Stand Walk Use hands to finger, handle, feel Reach with hands and arms Talk and hear ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 1/3 of the time: Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals Loud noise level 1/3 To 2/3 Of The Time: Moderate noise level 2/3 Or More Of The Time: Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
