# Technical Manager

Technical Manager We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead the technical operations of our production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production continuity, managing maintenance and engineering activities, leading the technical team, and managing new machinery, production line and automation investments. We are looking for a technically strong and solution-oriented leader who can combine engineering expertise, people management and project leadership in a dynamic food production environment. Key Responsibilities Manage all maintenance, technical operations and engineering activities across the production facility. Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of electrical, mechanical, automation, pneumatic and utility systems. Develop and effectively implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs. Lead root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement sustainable corrective actions. Manage, develop and organize the technical and maintenance team. Work closely with Production, Quality, R&D, Purchasing and other relevant departments. Lead the technical aspects of new machinery, production line and automation investments. Manage technical communication and negotiations with machinery suppliers, contractors and service providers. Coordinate FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning and acceptance processes. Manage the technical budget, maintenance costs, spare parts and critical equipment. Identify and implement projects focused on energy efficiency, capacity improvement, automation and cost reduction . Monitor and improve technical and production KPIs such as OEE, MTBF and MTTR . Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety, food safety and technical standards. Continuously evaluate new technologies and lead projects aimed at improving the technical infrastructure and efficiency of the facility. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in maintenance, engineering or technical management within a manufacturing environment. Experience in the chocolate, confectionery or food manufacturing industry is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of production and packaging machinery. Solid technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical and automation systems. Experience with PLC, HMI, inverter and servo systems. Good knowledge of utility systems such as compressors, industrial refrigeration, boilers/steam systems and HVAC. Proven experience in maintenance management and technical team leadership . Experience in machinery installation, commissioning and production line investment projects. Experience in managing technical suppliers, contractors and service companies. Good command of English , with the ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers and understand technical documentation. Experience with food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, BRC/IFS is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills. Result-oriented, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experienced in preparing and interpreting technical drawings and projects; proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks , or similar CAD software.
