🚀 WE'RE HIRING: Senior Software Engineer, AI Products 💰 Salary: $200,000 + Competitive Equity 📍 Location: United States | Remote 💼 Employment Type: Full-time 🛠️ Tech Stack: Python | Elixir (nice-to-have) About the Role We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build next-generation AI-native financial intelligence products. You'll work with a small, senior engineering team to transform manual accounting workflows into intelligent, automated backend systems using production-grade AI. What You'll Do 🔹 Build and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems and multi-step orchestration workflows. 🔹 Develop robust pipelines to process complex financial datasets and extract actionable insights. 🔹 Design rigorous AI evaluations, benchmarks and experiments to measure system performance. 🔹 Own features end-to-end, from understanding user needs to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement. 🔹 Transform traditionally manual accounting processes into intelligent backend services. What We're Looking For ✅ 10–15 years of backend software engineering experience. ✅ Strong production-grade Python development skills. ✅ Proven experience building and shipping AI agents or AI-native features into production. ✅ Hands-on experience with multi-step orchestration and AI evaluation frameworks. ✅ Experience with complex documents, financial data or other data-intensive systems. ✅ Early-stage startup experience and demonstrated end-to-end product ownership. ✅ A scientific, experimental approach to engineering with measurable outcomes. Nice to Have ⭐ Experience with Elixir. ⭐ Background in machine learning, data science or AI research. ⭐ Experience with financial intelligence, accounting automation or valuation workflows. Important Eligibility Criteria 🇺🇸 Candidates must be based in the United States and meet the role's work-authorization requirements without employer visa sponsorship. 📍 New York Metro candidates are preferred.
