Position Overview As a National Sales Director, you will drive strategic revenue growth by selling an industry-leading suite of integrated software and technology solutions. Your primary focus will be expanding annual recurring revenue (ARR) and market share within enterprise-level accounts across a designated multi-state territory. In this role, you will report directly to sales leadership, managing complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles, cultivating existing account expansion, and aggressively hunting for new enterprise logos using a consultative approach. Location: 100% remote focused on the Chicago/Minneapolis Territory Key Responsibilities Enterprise Account Management: Develop, nurture, and navigate complex buying committees within enterprise-level accounts to foster long-term partnerships and exceptional client satisfaction. Consultative Discovery: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions to understand client operations, uncover operational friction, and position tailored software and professional service solutions. Internal Collaboration: Align with Sales Leaders, Solutions Architects, Account Managers, and internal stakeholders to build targeted business plans that accelerate deal velocity. Technical Alignment: Partner closely with internal Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams to address technical workflows and demonstrate seamless integration value. Domain Expertise: Build deep domain expertise in integrated enterprise environments, automated facility technologies, and modern operational workflows. Required Qualifications 4+ years of successful experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales, utilizing a \"land and expand\" methodology. Proven track record of closing complex SaaS and/or hardware contracts valued at $100K+. Experience managing multi-stakeholder deal cycles (multi-threading) where purchasing decisions are made by executive committees. Strong ability to establish rapport and credibility quickly with C-Suite, Executive, and VP-level decision-makers. Demonstrated experience presenting to and negotiating contract terms with executive leadership at enterprise companies. Superb verbal and written communication skills. A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with strong organization and a commitment to robust CRM/deal documentation. A self-starting team player who easily adapts to change and thrives in a fast-paced environment. High motivation to hit individual goals while lifting up the broader sales team. Willingness and ability to travel out of state for client meetings and industry events as required. Preferred Qualifications Direct sales experience within, or selling into, the Multifamily residential housing industry. Dual experience selling both SaaS and physical hardware (IoT, smart home automation, access control, or managed Wi-Fi). Formal training in Sandler, Challenger, SPIN, or similar consultative sales methodologies. In accordance with Chicago Labor Law the good-faith base salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000 annually + commission . Final compensation will be determined based on various legally permissible factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, specific skill set, education, certifications, and geographic location within Chicago.
