Report it to law enforcement and recruiting@ipsy.com.   About the Role: The Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance and facilities function at IPSY's 575,000 sq. ft. automated fulfillment center in Belton, Missouri. This role owns the reliability, safety, and performance of everything that keeps the building running: conveyance and automation systems, material-handling equipment, building infrastructure, and the technician team that keeps it all moving. This is a working leadership role. The Maintenance Manager is expected to be hands-on with equipment and systems while also operating as a strategic partner to Operations leadership and other departments to minimize downtown and improve reliability. You will lead the maintenance team, develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs, coordinate repairs and outside contractors, manage maintenance costs and spare-parts inventory, and work closely with Operations, Safety, Engineering, and other departments to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. This position reports to the Senior Director of Distribution Center Operations and will be on-site in our Belton, MO facility. A requirement of this role is the ability to cover all shifts, as needed.   What You’ll Be Doing: Track and assign daily maintenance and facility preventative maintenance inspections and repairs within our Maintenance Management System. Investigate and dispatch actions to correct all problem calls for facility and distribution equipment -- to include, but not limited to, Hytrol conveyance, PLCs, Cognex Scanners, automatic seal applicators, print and apply printers  Perform scheduled and daily maintenance on distribution equipment such as material handling equipment, conveyors, conveyor support equipment etc., and coordinate with 3rd party vendors, to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings is maintained Skilled to properly handle distribution equipment regarding; OSHA and safety requirements, hazardous materials, follow company policies and emergency procedures Prepare all department documentation such as, but not limited to, work logs, equipment check sheets, preventive maintenance documentation, etc. Responsible for communicating major problems, concerns, and inoperable equipment information to the Senior Director of Operations, facility partners, and vendors Perform other duties as assigned What We Are Looking For: High school diploma or GED required (associates degree, bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, or a related technical field preferred) 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience (industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment-center), performing preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs in an industrial environment, specifically in an automated environment using and managing the use of CMMS platforms 3+ years (minimum) of experience supervising or managing maintenance technicians (directly leading 3+ other mechanics), with strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, including: Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare-parts inventories, and vendor relationships Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause-analysis skills, including: Proven troubleshooting and repair skills and the ability to perform high-voltage electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance on buildings and material-handling equipment (including conveyors, motors, sensors, controls, and related systems) PLC / WCS programming and troubleshooting experience, along with basic PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products Knowledge of OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety, and safe maintenance practices Ability to work on-call to support the operational needs of the business, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation Bonus if You Have: 5+ years of supervisory or management experience Warehouse consolidation experience Associates or Bachelor’s degree Experience using Auto CAD Physical Job Demands:  Exposure to warehousing equipment hazards and varying temperatures in fulfillment centers Flexibility to travel to various fulfillment centers, vendor locations, and corporate office Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers while performing the duties of this job Moderate to heavy lifting required Requirements include working from heights, including facility roof access ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions What We Offer: Competitive base salary & bonus program  Medical, dental & vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match Paid Time Off Free IPSY Extra subscription Learning & development programs   EEO Statement: We celebrate diversity and are an equal-opportunity employer.
