Inventory Management Specialist

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Sierra Army Depot is located approximately 60 miles north of Reno, NV, and 35 miles south of Susanville, CA. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center. Reconciles System Analysis Program (SAP) inventory records in accordance with governing regulations. Establishes asset purification programs for accountable property on hand. Implements supply chain directives from higher administrative echelons. Coordinates workload schedules and cycle counts for subordinate technical personnel. Synchronizes supply management operations with Defense Logistics Agency and DoD partners. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Utilizing an enterprise system, such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to update/track information; (2) Providing technical advice on supply operations, procedures, and quality standards; and (3) Managing reports on work accomplishments, problems, and training needs.
