Registered Nurse - Advanced Acute Care Orthopedic Telemetry Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, assessments, and care planning in a clinical setting. Responsibilities: Perform assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families. Develop, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning. Deliver direct patient care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with policies. Evaluate intervention effectiveness, revise care plans, and collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary team members. Problem-solve equipment issues, participate in evidence-based practice decision-making, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives. Ensure patient safety, promote satisfaction, and foster compassionate interactions with patients and families. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a specialty nursing training program; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must meet licensing requirements and demonstrate compassionate, team-oriented care with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Additional Details: Work involves shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The unit primarily features private and semi-private rooms with a diverse patient population, specializing in surgical orthopedic and total joint procedures. Onsite therapy and 24/7 hospitalist services support patient care. Recognized for nursing excellence and quality, with a focus on high reliability and community engagement.
