Production Manager

ERENSAN exports 60% of its production to 80 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, including France, Italy, England, Russia and Spain. In 2011, ERENSAN joined forces with the global heating sector leader, French GROUPE ATLANTIC, in order to accelerate its local and global growth plans. Following the merger of two large groups, ERENSAN is taking robust steps towards achieving its global targets.ERENSAN continued its investment programme without slowing down and was selected as the Groupe Atlantic R&D Competence Centre in 2017. The company has its own team of engineers in the R&D department, enabling it to design boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and economisers and develop products for different applications. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Production Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will lead production operations, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing while driving performance in quality, cost and delivery. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, organize and manage production activities to achieve quantity, quality, cost, safety and delivery targets. Ensure production lines operate efficiently, continuously and safely, taking rapid action when risks or disruptions occur. Coordinate with Production Planning, Logistics and support functions to build and execute production plans according to customer demand and available capacity. Monitor production performance through KPIs such as productivity, capacity utilization, scrap, downtime, quality and on-time delivery, and define improvement actions. Lead and deploy continuous improvement activities using Lean / Kaizen principles and shop-floor tools such as 5S, SMED, waste reduction and structured problem solving. Control production costs and develop initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste and operating costs. Optimize the use of equipment, workforce and materials in line with production priorities and capacity requirements. Lead production teams, including engineers, supervisors, foremen, team leaders and operators; manage recruitment, training, performance and development processes. Ensure production processes comply with quality standards and drive corrective actions for non-conformities. Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, R&D, Human Resources and other departments to ensure production continuity and effective problem resolution. Manage production readiness for new product launches and industrialization activities. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and support the effective implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. Contribute to the plant master plan by assessing future capacity, workforce, skills, equipment and flow requirements, and by leading related improvement projects. Define, follow and report production KPIs to senior management and ensure production requirements are met during internal and external audits. WHAT WE OFFER Standard working schedule: five days per week from 07:00 till 17:00; flexibility may be required depending on production needs Work in an international company and environment Company car Lunch Official employment and social benefits Medical insurance PLACE OF WORK İstanbul / Arnavutköy JOB REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline Solid experience in production management within an industrial manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, SMED and structured problem-solving methods Strong KPI and performance management capability, including productivity, capacity utilization, scrap, downtime, quality and delivery performance Good understanding of production planning, capacity management, manufacturing flows and shop-floor management Knowledge of quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Good command of English, both written and spoken Experience in boiler, HVAC, heavy mechanical manufacturing, metal fabrication, welding, machining or assembly environments is a strong advantage SOFT SKILLS Strong leadership and personal impact, with the ability to engage teams and create ownership Constructive communicator who collaborates effectively across functions and handles difficult messages appropriately Decisive and solution-oriented, able to prioritize and act effectively in complex or uncertain situations Results-driven, organized, rigorous and reliable, with strong follow-up discipline Able to delegate effectively, develop people and increase team autonomy Adaptable, proactive and close to the shop floor, with strong field presence and responsiveness Able to build and communicate a medium- and long-term vision while listening to stakeholders and creating strong working relationships
