Financial Analyst

About the Company A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role offers significant visibility across the business and the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on financial planning, forecasting, strategic analysis, and performance reporting. About the Role The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting company-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and management reporting efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong FP&A background, advanced Excel skills, and experience partnering with business leaders to provide actionable financial insights. Responsibilities Support financial decision-making through analysis of operational and business performance Assist with company-wide planning activities, including annual and periodic forecasting processes Develop reporting tools and financial models used to evaluate business trends and opportunities Monitor financial and operational metrics, identifying risks and areas for improvement Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for management and key stakeholders Analyze variances between actual and expected results and provide recommendations Participate in long-range planning and resource allocation discussions Support liquidity planning and overall financial health monitoring Gather, organize, and interpret data from multiple sources to support strategic initiatives Collaborate with departments across the organization to improve data visibility and reporting accuracy Assist with special projects, business cases, and executive-level presentations Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 4+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience Required Skills Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Experience preparing management reporting and business analyses Advanced Excel skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Effective communication and presentation skills Preferred Skills Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operations-focused organization Exposure to business intelligence and reporting tools Experience working with large data sets and complex financial information Knowledge of cost accounting concepts Advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus Equal Opportunity Statement CB Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
