Our client is a growing, privately owned construction and service organization seeking a strategic HR leader to oversee all human resources functions. Reporting directly to the Owners, you'll serve as a trusted partner to ownership and division leadership, aligning people strategies with operational needs and long-term growth across a multi-division business. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR leadership: Partner with ownership and division managers on workforce planning, organizational structure, performance management, and culture initiatives Compliance and risk: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain handbooks and policies; oversee investigations and employee relations matters Recruiting and talent acquisition: Lead full-cycle recruiting for field and administrative roles, build sourcing relationships (trade schools, colleges, associations), and improve onboarding Workforce development: Build training and leadership development programs and support career pathing Employee relations and culture: Serve as the primary HR resource across all divisions and support engagement, recognition, and retention HR operations: Manage performance reviews, compensation benchmarking, benefits administration, HR reporting, and vendor relationships Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices Multi-location operations experience preferred Proven success in recruiting, employee development, and conflict resolution HRIS/payroll and Microsoft Office proficiency preferred
