Driver (non-CDL) / Laborer Location: Redwood City, CA Starting pay: $22 - $28 / hour + tips! TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is now hiring drivers (non-CDL) / laborers! Full-time employees work 8-10 hours per day on average, and workdays may vary based on business needs. About The Role Our teams move homes and businesses throughout Redwood City, San Mateo County, and the greater Bay Area. Drivers operate the truck and are the face of the company with each customer; laborers pack, load, and unload with care. Paid training covers safe lifting, loading, and driving a 26 ft. box truck. See new places and meet new people with OPTIONAL long distance move opportunities Work wihm and help make a difference in our customers’ lives every day Who We’re Looking For 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record (no more than one at-fault accident and no more than four moving violations in the past 3 years; no DUI in the past 3 years) Ability to lift and carry heavy items (75 lbs. or more) while climbing stairs, balancing, and walking Stamina – you won’t find a workout like this anywhere else! Ability to read and speak English well enough to serve customers, understand traffic signs, and complete paperwork Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screen Eperience as a non-CDL driver or in general labor, landscaping, construction, production, manufacturing, factory, assembly or warehouse is helpful but not required! What You’ll Do Drivers safely operate the moving truck, perform daily truck inspections, and complete paperwork with customers Provide positive energy and top-notch service Safely move, pack, and unpack customer belongings Be on time. Be friendly. Be safe. Hustle! Working Conditions Physically demanding, indoor and outdoor work in varying weather, with frequent lifting, bending, and stairs Full-time scheduls, including some weekends, depending on business needs Our Safety & Hiring Standards Offers are contingent on a background check, MVR review, and drug screen.
