Job Title: MRI Technician Job ID:CNE-1092|HHC-1060 Location: Warwick, RI Pay Rate:$65.52/ hr Shift: Mon-Fri (07:00 AM to 07:00 PM) Job Summary MRI Technician needed within the Magnetic Resonance Imaging department to prepare and position patients, produce cross-sectional images, and ensure quality diagnostic imaging. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 36 hours/week. Department: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Roles & Responsibilities Prepare and position patients; select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination Enter and monitor patient data; transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce transparencies; develop film in an automatic processor Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, patient data/history) Ensure equipment is properly functioning; report potential problems or malfunctions to appropriate personnel Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage areas, and other department spaces Experience 2 years of relevant experience Key Skills MRI imaging and cross-sectional scanning Patient positioning and pre-screening Radiation safety protocols Eligibility & Qualifications PACS documentation and image quality management Equipment monitoring and troubleshooting
